Programme for Trends 2011
Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th February 2011
For the second year running there will be a Delegates’ and Speakers’ Drinks Reception on Thursday evening
following The Ridley Foundation Medal Lecture. Also, for the first time this year, all Trends attendees are invited to book the Trends charity dinner in aid of Eyehope for themselves and one guest. The dinner will follow the drinks reception and will be held in the dining room at The Royal Society.
Thursday 3rd February
- 9.30am – 11.00am
- Medical Eye Unit Presentations – Chaired by Dr G Plant, Dr E Graham and Prof M Stanford
- 11.30am – 1.00pm
- Uveitis – The Medical Eye Unit – Chaired by Dr E Graham
- 2.00pm – 5.00pm
- Cornea, Refractive Surgery, External Eye; Dermatology, Skin, Plastics – Chaired by Mr D O’Brart
- 5.15pm – 6.15pm
- The Ridley Foundation Medal Lecture will be given by Mr David Spalton, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, St Thomas’ Hospital
- 6.15pm – 11.00pm
- Delegates’ and Speakers’ Drinks Reception, followed by a charity dinner in aid of Eyehope for every Trends attendee and one guest per person
Friday 4th February
- 9.30am – 1.00pm
- Medical Retina – Chaired by Mrs S Mann and Mr M Mohamed
- 2.00pm – 3.00pm
- Cataract Surgery – Chaired by Mr D Spalton
- 3.00pm - 4.00pm
- Six Cases of the Year Meeting closes
